「淋しい理系女子」（４）
今、目の前に経済的に困窮していて国立大学に合格するしか大学に行く道が断たれてしまう塾生がいると想像して下さい。また、その横に学校の先生に言われるままに“クラブと勉強の両立”をめざしている生徒がいると想像して下さい。
２人に
「勉強頑張っているかい？」
と質問したら、間違いなく
「頑張っています」
と言うに違いない。
Imagine there is a girl who has a financial problem to
go to university and have to pass the entrance exam to a national university. Imagine there is a boy who are obedient to
public school teachers’ order to do homework.
If we ask them
“Are you studying hard?”
Both must say yes.

前者は目標がハッキリしているので、合格に役立つことは何かと考える。役立たないことは生活から排除する。後者はタダ先生の言うことだけを忠実に従うだけ。
２人とも主観的には
「頑張ってます」
なのですが、どちらが受験で成功する確率が高いか分かりますか？受験は不確定要素が多いので断言は出来ません。ただ、私の経験から言うと前者が断然高い合格率を示します。
The former has a clear purpose and
think about what she should do to pass the entrance exam and the latter doesn’t
think about his future and just obey the teachers’ order.
Which has more possibility to success? My answer is the former because my teaching
experience says so.
１、「京大二次」英作文の採点基準（ネット添削可）。
なぜか？
理由は簡単。学校は受験対策に向いていない。教師は受験指導のプロではない。その授業は中間層にむけて行われている。問題集も平均層に向けたものが使われる。
四日市高校や、旧帝受験むきにはなっていないわけです。
仲間も違う。
でも、一番大きい理由は戦う姿勢です。受験に真正面から向かい合い、合格のための勉強法を自ら考えるから。プロでない人の指示に従うだけではダメなのです。
Why?
The reason is simple. Schools are
not proper places to prepare for the entrance exams. Teachers are not professionals to help
students with the preparation.
Not good places for Yokkaichi high school and good universities.
However the biggest reason is courage.
The courage to face the reality.
To think about their own problems is important. To obey the others order is not good.
２、 「こうやって、京大数学が７割解けるようになりました」
ところが、日本の学校では教師の指示に従順な生徒が「良い子」とされ、自分で考えて行動する生徒を「変な子」とされる。だから、理系女子は孤独に陥ることが多い。
優秀な理系女子は、そんな教師のロボットみたいな男子を軽侮するし、全く魅力を感じない。それで、高校に進学すると
「中学時代に同じクラスにいた男子はみんなバカだった」
と言ったりする。
そして、そのことを私がブログに書いたりすると猛烈に反発がくることがある。
But in
Japan, most people believe just obeying teachers’ orders is the most
important. Such students are called “good students”. Students who think about
their own problems are called “strange students”
Good students despise such students because they don’t like to be like
robots. Then they say
“Ａｌｌ my old class mates were
stupid.”
When I
write about smart students words, sometimes even I get claims.

私が言ったことでもないし、私を攻撃したところで、優秀な理系女子が考えていることを変えることも出来ないのに。賢い生徒はこの日本の特殊事情を分かっているので、人前では何も言わない。
私は塾講師だから、その両者に接しているわけです。ご家庭が経済的に厳しいとか、何らかの理由で
「何が何でも国立大の医学部に行かなければ」
という気魄のある子に、宿題だけやっている子は勝てない。当たり前のこと。
Even if they criticize me, they
cannot change smart students’ ideas.
Since good students understand this, they are quiet in public.
I am a private school teacher, I teach both good students and bad
students. Naturally bad students cannot
come up with good students.

やらされている子は、自発的にやる子には勝てないものなんです。なのに、何にも分かっていない保護者の方は
「バンバン宿題を出して下さい」
と言われる方が多い。私が真逆な指導方針で難関高校、難関大学の合格者を
指導しても理解は得られない。

harder in general.

They don’t like my teaching way because I don’t give much homework.

受験指導などという堅い話で、この読まれ方をされるということは、あなたの受験勉強のプラスになる話がある可能性があります。
でも、宿題をマジメにやる子はマシ。宿題さえ言い訳をいろいろ考えて回避しようとする子がなんと多いことだろう。
「みんなで渡れば怖くない」
から、騒げば“ゆとり教育”にしてくれる。相対評価の成績表は廃しになる。業者テストも偏差値も嫌だから消えてしまえ！それに、教師も、教育委員会も、文科省さえ乗ってしまった。 最低だった。
ようやく、誤りが正されそうとしている。
Many
students try to avoid doing homework.
“It is OK because a lot of
people do it.”
Decrease the volume of teaching materials, abolish school record using
relative evaluation and the deviation.
Teachers, the board of education and the ministration of education think
about only bad students.
We have to change this.
